FAQ
Answers before you ask
What is an independent financial advisor, and when is one required?
An advisor registered with the Financial Regulatory Authority that prepares fair value studies and independent opinions. The FRA and the Exchange require one in cases such as capital increases at fair value or through creditor balances, acquisitions and tender offers, listing and delisting, and mergers and splits.
Which documents are needed to start a fair value study?
Usually the audited financial statements for the last three years and the latest interim statements, the budget and business plan, the shareholder structure and the purpose of the study. We send a standard document list with our proposal.
How long does a study take?
The timetable is set in the proposal according to the scope and the completeness of the data, and we commit to a written schedule for each phase.
Are your studies prepared to FRA and bank requirements?
Yes. Fair value studies follow the Egyptian Valuation Standards issued by the FRA, and feasibility studies follow the format banks and investment authorities require. We also handle regulators' comments.
Do you provide reports in English?
Yes. We issue studies and memoranda in Arabic and English on request, which suits foreign partners and investors.
How are fees set?
Through a written technical and financial proposal with fixed fees and payments tied to deliverables, stating what is and is not included.
